Projects
The work I lead with: products and sites I designed, built, and shipped.
A 2026 100% SEO website project for Blue Paradise Coworking, designed around bilingual indexing, coworking/coliving search intent, sticky booking UX, and fast static pages.
THE Problem
Blue Paradise wanted travelers to find them, but their aging WordPress site was nearly invisible on Google: the booking button returned a 404, theme demo pages were live in production, and the language switcher led nowhere.
THE Solution
A full rebuild as a fast, multilingual Next.js site, treated as a search migration, not just a redesign. Every indexed URL was mapped to its new localized home with single-hop 301s, leftover junk was retired with 410, and hreflang, canonicals, and the sitemap were done right.
A live Iceland nightlife app with 12,000+ downloads, built around happy hours, venue discovery, events, and local bar onboarding.
THE Problem
Reykjavík bars wanted people to notice their happy hours and deals, but customers never knew what was on or where to go, so the best offers went unseen.
THE Solution
Barhopp puts live happy hours, venue discovery, and events in one mobile app, with a simple onboarding flow that lets bars get listed, updated, and promoted.
A newsletter helping developers code better on the go and keep their GitHub wall green.
THE Problem
Developers want to keep their GitHub wall green, but consistency breaks the moment they are away from their desk.
THE Solution
A newsletter for developers who want to keep their wall green from anywhere: tactics, lightweight mobile setups, ship-today micro-projects, and featured reader streaks. No app to build or maintain.
A live mobile app that turns posters, flyers, event names, and real-world moments into calendar-ready plans with useful context.
THE Problem
Companies wanted people to act on their posters and flyers, but the photo hit the camera roll and the event, date, and deal were forgotten.
THE Solution
PosterSnap lets you photograph any poster or text, and AI structures it into events, dates, and deals, then drops them straight into your calendar or sends them to your tools.
Sole Developer
WebsiteFerðabúðin
2023 - 2026
A solo-built Shopify travel-commerce store for Iceland: custom Liquid theme, bilingual storefront, product-catalog and SEO ops, built, run, and intentionally sunset.
THE Problem
Visitors and locals looking for Iceland travel gear had no single curated, Icelandic-language storefront. Products were scattered across generic marketplaces with no local framing or a trusted Iceland-specific shop.
THE Solution
Ferðabúðin was a solo-built Shopify store selling curated Iceland travel products, built end to end: a custom Liquid theme, a product catalog with metafields, a bilingual Icelandic and English storefront, a Facebook product catalog for social selling, and SEO tuned to Iceland travel search intent.
A Shopify store built from scratch for retail brand Möst C, turning a mostly offline business into a live online sales channel on mostc.is.
THE Problem
Möst C sold physical retail products but had almost no way to sell online. Sales were capped by in-person and manual channels, and customers could not browse or buy the catalog on the web.
THE Solution
A Shopify store built from scratch on mostc.is: a custom theme, a full product catalog, a storefront, and checkout, set up end to end so the brand could sell online. Built solo, from an empty store to a live, sellable storefront.
A self-service drink technology project by Torio, built around IoT dispensers, drink tables and walls, payment flow, admin tooling, Barhopp venue tie-ins, and a public product website.
THE Problem
Venues wanted to sell more drinks without hiring more staff, but every self-service drink system was too heavy, too pricey, and too complex to bother with.
THE Solution
PourSelf packages the self-service drink experience into a connected product system: lightweight drink dispensers, drink tables and walls, age verification, payment flow, admin tooling, and a Barhopp tie-in for venue discovery. The public website positions the system around affordable, lightweight self-service drink technology.

Companies
Where I have worked, split by whether I built it by myself or with a team.
By myself
Grant-funded drink technology venture
Sproti funding from Tækniþróunarsjóður, the Icelandic Technology Development Fund. I was the only programmer on the team.
